I can't believe it!! I caught someone stealing content directly from my blog! I do video game reviews and a review of mine for BloodyCheckers, an indie game, was copy and pasted onto another blog only 3 hours ago and I caught it!

Also, if you notice, both reviews have 0 comments. I posted a comment on the thief's and about 10 minutes later it was deleted! here is the comment I posted:

I just got a message from him (he tried commenting on my review) he said:

"hey man i hope u know that this isnt copyright and u cant do anything i copyrighted it as soon as i got your message it now legally belongs to me "

Yeah, screw 72 hour warning I'm reporting him now.

I know right! It sounds ridiculous! Want to know what he actually did? Look at the review! Underneath it he just put this stupid copywrite thing.

Pretty stupid considering Google can just check their database for proof.

Exactly, and also seeing as my review was posted on 3/23/2012 at 06:48:00 AM and his on Monday, April 16, 2012 well... kind of obvious.

That copyrighting part made me laugh. Sounds like you're dealing with a silly person, and silly people are such that you might hear from them again after reporting them, and I'm not talking about a response with any wit in it :p
