Sachys: nope... and I'm not left handed either
Tarnicus: Wow then why is it
every single person carrying a weapon (or drink in the case of the mole person in the middle) is doing so left-handed in your art? I don't think I've ever seen such pro-kaki hander artist yet! That's old derisive slang here for a left-hander, because one supposedly wipes one's arse with their left hand and eats with their right. Seems fitting for you :)
Edit: to make the non-nonsensical possibly understandable
Its more than likely because the vast majority of my work (including the actual composition) is done on the fly and built up from abstract, Therefore when things fit, I leave em be - and if they dont, they get painted over about 30 times! heheh.
One thing to note about the mole people peice though - the mole in the foreground is only supposed to have one arm - something not nearly clear enough in the script I was given as reference as it wasnt mentioned at all in the plot! heheh.
Edit: another reason is horizontal flipping when painting - aside from it being good to check for vrious values, it also helps me set perspective straight as my depth perception is a bit weird due to scratches on the lenses of both eyes. usually the "final" file will be flipped a bunch of times until im happy with it - so its possible I painted the beer bottle (for instance) in the right hand, but the piece wirked better with the canvas flipped
