Oh, I especially love the Landscape Sketchdump work! It really evokes desolation.

Sachys: nope... and I'm not left handed either

Tarnicus: Wow then why is it every single person carrying a weapon (or drink in the case of the mole person in the middle) is doing so left-handed in your art? I don't think I've ever seen such pro-kaki hander artist yet! That's old derisive slang here for a left-hander, because one supposedly wipes one's arse with their left hand and eats with their right. Seems fitting for you :)

Edit: to make the non-nonsensical possibly understandable
Its more than likely because the vast majority of my work (including the actual composition) is done on the fly and built up from abstract, Therefore when things fit, I leave em be - and if they dont, they get painted over about 30 times! heheh.

One thing to note about the mole people peice though - the mole in the foreground is only supposed to have one arm - something not nearly clear enough in the script I was given as reference as it wasnt mentioned at all in the plot! heheh.

Edit: another reason is horizontal flipping when painting - aside from it being good to check for vrious values, it also helps me set perspective straight as my depth perception is a bit weird due to scratches on the lenses of both eyes. usually the "final" file will be flipped a bunch of times until im happy with it - so its possible I painted the beer bottle (for instance) in the right hand, but the piece wirked better with the canvas flipped

Landscape Sketchdump looks quite nice. You could see a comic book / visual novel coming from those arts. And i must say i love the colors. Dunno why and do not care. I just loved those.

Those being said, in for:

1. Fallout 3: Game Of The Year Edition (Steam)
2. Startopia
3. Sim City 2000: Special Edition
I love the lady mole at the back. She's perfect.

I was wondering if it might have been due to horizontal flipping :) Thanks for the explanation, and darn my sleuthing skills being off on this one :P

Once again congratulations on getting your amazing artwork published Sachys, I have yet to listen to the audio drama maybe because in this day and age of multimedia overload I have become too lazy to actually be content with just listening but I will most certainly do so when I get the chance. Thanks a lot for doing this giveaway to mark the occasion and after some contemplation I would like to be in with a chance for the following order of preference:

- Fallout 3: Game Of The Year Edition
- Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy

I had also checked out your blog before which has a lot of great stuff but I hadn't browsed your DevianArt section so I found a lot of stellar work there as well but the piece I really liked a lot was Broken Moon which I found to be really cool so best of luck for more of your awesome artwork getting recognized and duly compensated. :)
I'm in for Fallout 3 GOTY +10000000 :-)

But, if you use your right...over too quickly.

Great movie!

That reminds me of how I used to play table tennis(or a bat in each hand), squash, cricket, pool and boxing. Being left-handed I trained myself to use both hands skillfully when I was younger(being the smart arse show off that I am :P).
Whoa. People do things our than play games and post of these forums? Who'd figure? But seriously, congratulations! And its not ever poo art!
In for Fahrenhiet (Indigo Prophecy)

Congrats Sachys! You already know what I think about your work... ;p

Also, wanted to enter for a game, but seeing as Bigs entered for it, I'll refrain from decreasing his odds.

Thanks nonetheless, and good luck!
