Game is going up on Kickstarter 6th of November:
http://deathfiregame.com/2013/10/deathfire-gets-kickstarted/
Why does the hyped description sound like a generic action game with its appeal in graphics when it's supposed to be a RPG?
Since the Kickstarter failed G3 is doing now a funding on their own site on deathfiregame.com
It's planned to release Deathfire in episodes now, so that the quality of the game won't be any different from what originally planned on Kickstarter.

Check it out if you are still interested in the game.
Yes, Deathfire is doing it s own pledge drive now that the kickstarter have failed.

The pledge page is here - http://deathfiregame.com/pledge-information/

Be warned, though, that this is not kickstarter and when you pledge you will be charged, if the drive do not reach the $400k minimum goal needed, then there are no guarantees that you will see anything for the money pledged.

However, said all that, the game itself looks like it have a lot of potential, and I do hope it will be made.

Well, first of all: The initial goal (to get the first episode started /done) is $50.000, not $400.000.

And further: if that amount ($50k) is not collected within two weeks, the "backers" will get their money back.

Quote from Guido Henkel on 7th december 2013:
"Yes, indeed. If we won’t reach the $50k goal it will be impossible for us to make the game and we will refund all pledges."

(I think it's still one week going and so far $43.845 are pledged).
