I see this title just released on Steam. It claims to be a Twisted Metal/Carmageddon-esque vehicular combat type game. Looks well polished and I like the visual style. I'm tempted to give it a test drive.
I love seeing so many indie and low budget titles at value prices showing up these days. A few titles that really intrigue me are Torchlight, Shattered Horizon, and Sacraboar. Not sure about their quality but it still gives me hope for seeing creativity and innovation in videogames again.

Actually, scratch that. I just realized that you're restricted to being on rails (should've realized by the title). It makes the game sound a lot less appealing.
Doesn't change the fact that there are a lot of interesting smaller projects being released and accessible to a bigger audience these days.

Torchlight is pure gold. Like, really. That stuff is amazing, and at its price it's insane.

I know. I got tired of Diablo 2 after only about 15 levels in maybe because I started playing the game about 10 years too late and the mechanics, presentation and style didn't hold my attention. But Torchlight is just so simple to pick up and just blast away hordes of enemies leveling up as you go. I always wanted to play a WoW-esque game without the persistent online world aspect because I usually just go solo anyway. Torchlight game fits quite nicely.

I tried Sacraboar demo on Steam and don't like it. You can try Shattered Horizon or Torchlight.
