I recently started using GOG, as I find it quiet convenient. And I recently downloaded/Downloading The Medal of Honor: WarChest. And I am really upset with the speed of which it is downloading at!

I currently reside in, Western Australia. And I was wondering if theirs any faster way of acquiring the game I Pay'd for as this is quiet frustrating. The maximum I've seen the speed so far is 51.58kbs. And medal of honor is a file size of 2.37gb, at this rate im gonna be waiting atleast 23hrs.

any Australian servers for GOG downloads?

GOG downloads automatically connect through the best/nearest server. I'm in New Zealand and have had no trouble downloading GOG games at proper speeds.

There are a few things you can try to increase your speed. If you're downloading through the GOG.com Downloader try increasing the "number of concurrent connections" setting. If you're downloading through your browser you could try using the GOG.com Downloader instead, or use a download manager like Free Download Manager.

Some users have reported GOG downloads going slower when more connections are set; if increasing the setting doesn't increase the speed (or makes it worse) you could try setting it to the lowest setting to see if that makes it faster overall. This is not how things normally work so increasing the setting is more likely to work for you.

If you are having problems using the GOGDownloader, you can also try downloading the games manually from your browser. Select the game from your shelf (https://secure.gog.com/account) and make sure the GOG.com Downloader mode is toggled to OFF in the top right of the box. Then download the individual installer files by clicking and choosing Save File.

Thanks, but the GOG downloader is a lot faster for me.
It's not always so slow:)

I increased the concurring connection to 10, then the downloader had a spaz attack and shut off, and a bug report error came up. but now it's working 60.00kbs :P
