F4LL0UT: Spent a lot of time answering this stuff (in the simplified version found in the last link) but when I saw that the result is a text file that you have to send via email I hesitated. Not sure I'll actually send the stuff, would definitely want to revise it.
Really? Can't they even make a proper survey? :/

There's no problem in sending to the eu email. The official and only counting form is the one that is in the EU page. That simplifier only gives you the text to place in the form (read pdf, doc or other document format.) so that then you can send it to the eu mail.

The EU does this because they are still essentially bureaucrats and like to have tons of paper.

I just hope this will actully serve for anything other than just giving the people the illusion of choice.

Either way i thought more people would answer this call. Considering all the flame war that are here on gog about DRM and similars. People please answer this, it has to do with everything from filesharing, DRM, users rights, authors rights, etc.

Less than 10 days and counting.
I'd like to partecipate, but I'd prefer faster yes\no\select answers with textboxs only optional..
Yeah, I'm surprised this thread doesn't get more attention. But probably because it's too much workl/people think it doesn't amount to anything anyway.
Thanks for the info, I will definitely check this!
Just a heads up, the deadline has been extended to Mar 5 2014.

So there's still about a month to submit your opinion and suggestions.
Thank you so much for sharing this! Sent my feedback.

Yes, there's a lot to read and learn, but it's worth it. It's in times like these that I kind of feel proud for living in a European Union Member State, at least they pretend to care about our opinions and inputs, despite all the flaws inherent to all manners of politics.

I truly hope this bears fruits favouring the citizens and the consumers, and we finally start taking steps away from this self-centered, egotistical mentality we are currently living in and that inevitably is leading us to a society not unlike the one Orwell described in Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Thankfully the deadline has been extended, I cannot believe that I am only hearing about this now.

I've read the whole thing, but unfortunately haven't found anything related to (online) DRM on files. There are questions regarding the resale of digital files, but aside from that...
Okay, I have replied to copywrongs.eu and plans to fill the document as soon as I have a bigger block of free time. Amelia's website looks to be very helpful.
