Beach, or Hanging out at home playing games I do not normally get a chance to play.
Hopefully one day a trip to the Grand Canyon.
I live at a vacation spot!
Well, not really, but they're not too far away. Panama is a coastal city and being in a tiny strip of land, we can actually get from the pacific ocean to the atlantic one in under an hour. Lots of beachy places to choose from.
The Swiss Alps.
The Andes.
The Himalayas.
I guess I'm into mountains in general ... I hate "mainstream" vacation spots like Tenerife, Greece, etc. where Scandinavians generally go not to have a vacation but to get drunk beyond all sensibility and wreck up the place.
Bodrum, Turkey. Although if you're going you specifically need to go out of season.
Been there twice... Never wanted to leave.
Balcony.
Greek islands
nuff said.

Hehe - not going again for a while now... I'd love to go there this year, but we just don't have the money.

Let me know when you come over here, would be neat to meet up.
Darth Vader dude Acare also lives in Turkey.
I'm one of those British stuck-in-the-muds who prefer to explore their own county rather than over seas! I've always wanted to go to Southwold and drink fine -fine- ale by the beach.
Doesn't get any better than a sleepy sea-side village.

I really liked Turkey too when I was there. That time we did go to one of the more "tourist-infested" areas (Alanya / Antalya), but it was well out of season and hence we had the place much to ourselves.
The food was really great. Went to some restaurant there one night, haven't eaten that good since.
And the prices, of course, were outrageous. Breakfast? Only 2.000.000. Which converted to about a fiver in Norwegian currency. :P
