I'm in for F.E.A.R. 3, thanks for the giveaway.
My childhood fear... this is going to make a lot of people laugh, but for some bizarre reason I was scared of the NBC peacock. Don't ask me why, I am still trying to figure that out to this day but I just remember quaking in my boots every time I saw those peacock logo bumps on NBC in the mid to late nineties. This one in particular was one that freaked me the heck out:

Again, I do not know why but it just made me freak out as a kid.

I'm in for the first game only.
As a kid, I was afraid of a certain first-person shooter that shall go unnamed so as to not traumatize anyone else. I eventually overcame this fear and played the shit out of that game. Ever since then, I have been indestructible.

Please consider me for FEAR (the first one).
As a kid, there was an alleyway not far from our house.
It was a great shortcut that more than halved my journey to school.
But it was really dark, particularly in winter & I was always convinced that there was SOMETHING following me down that path...

I'm in for F.E.A.R.
As a little kid I always feared finishing a popsicle icecream, when you know you have to lick the horrible wooden stick with goosebumps as a result. I still can emulate goosebumps with that thought :P

I'm in for F.E.A.R (1).
As a child I lived in a large house in the country outskirts. I had my room upstairs and I was always afraid that a murderer or a thief would sneak up through the window with a ladder. To this day I can't stop chuckling when I think about the chances of that happening but at the same time how scared I was because of that damn ladder.

Bump
My childhood fear was deep water. I almost drowned once when I was young, and after that I'd start to panic if my feet couldn't touch the bottom. I've gotten better about it since then, but still not very keen on swimming...

Your phobia is very similar to mine, I am also still afraid of deep water and not a swimmer. Also I'd just like to be in for the first F.E.A.R instead of all three. Thanks.

I'm not in, I just wanted to share a childhood fear.
When I was 3 or 4, I was deathly afraid of wind. I would stay inside and hide behind the couch/under the bed/under a desk/whatever. For some reason that makes no sense at all, and I have not been able to figure out my reasoning after all these years, I would tell my family to go outside with a salt shaker and sprinkle it on the wind. Somehow I thought that salt would kill the wind, or something...
Anyways, +1 for generosity. F.E.A.R. is an outstanding game. I hope the winner enjoys it!
I think my klonopin started working, and I have started talking too much. So I'll slowly back out of the thread now...
