Well I'm sorry but I disagree. There are too many people on here who CREEP to the bigwigs. It would be a good thing to get rid of rep altogether so that people would no longer be influenced by a person's rep when they are about to post a reply. That would also lead to a reduction in the utterly pathetically sycophantic pack mentality which you frequently see on here and on other websites.

Rep is indeed totally meaningless, and it doesn't matter to me, but it DOES have an effect on how people post, so it ought to be abolished. I don't like your final sentence either, which you issued almost like a challenge : pretty typical of the general behaviour of a "bigwig".

I don't know, man, maybe I am not as perceptive as you, or look for into it, but I don't see any of the things you're describing.

These forums are pretty chill, on average, and equal opportunity, but you'll see what you want to see, I guess.

These forums are usually a pleasure to either participate in or just read, but there's no doubt that there are some people on here who are either just plain bullies or their sycophantic followers. Getting rid of the rep system would be a good idea in my opinion. It's a stupid rep system anyway : post something inoffensive and gain +1 rep. Yawn ....
