Hello there fellow GOGers!

I know, that some great developers released their old, classic games as freeware. Because of this there is almost no chance that these games will arrive here on GOG.

So I thought that maybe we will create a little list with the freeware classic games, so it will be easy to find them for others.

We can start with a couple of titles:

1. GTA 1
2. GTA 2
3. Wild Metal
- all are Rockstar Classics: http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/

4. The Elder Scrolls: Arena
- http://www.elderscrolls.com/arena/

5. The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
- http://www.elderscrolls.com/daggerfall/

6. Death Rally
- updated Windows version only: http://www.remedygames.com/games/deathrally

If you know any other freeware classics - please post!

On the other hand, some of the games that GOG offers as freebies were officially recognised as free to download before their release on GOG, see Beneath a Steel Sky and Ultima IV for examples.
I'm just gonna leave this here.
