Really, I played the demo and was floored. If this game actually executed on half its ambition it looks awesome. It got very good user scores at metacritic, anyone play it that can recommend it as a good game?

Factions, missions, upgradeable ships, buyable ships, pilot skills, symbiot skills (artificial lifeform assistant), factions, nuking and mining (okay, I could pass on that last one...). Wow, just wow.

Anyone?

hmmm. Never heard about it before, no.

Did a quick google and found out it is a XBLA game?

Considering it was released in November 2011, and there are only 3 user reviews on Metacritic is not a good sign, especially if I understand correctly that it is mulitplayer (one critic called it almost an MMO?)

Two points against it for me - I still don't have an xbox, nor do I play much muliplayer games. I could not find any news about it getting a PC release either.

I just read the Kotaku review, which gave it a no, based on it being very bland -would you agree with it?

Hmm, well it's 800 points, in December, no I couldn't recommend it alongside all the other great games that were out. Now? Yeah, maybe. I can see that it might settle in and be "boring". I did a couple missions for a faction (only one is available in the demo: the fundamentalist whackos) and a couple were super hard, so hard I couldn't complete them. Some were easy. There was no indication that I could see of which I should pick at my level. I sort of chalked it up to not understanding the visually complex upgrade system (which is still a possible culprit).

The game starts off with a BANG, as stated in that review, so I'm working mostly off my impressions of said bang, most of them good. I know it has definite "suck" potential, which is why I'm asking.
