KavazovAngel: Nope, they don't.

Anyway, they improved the site, but not by much. :( Very similar to the last look.
More functional than the last one though. I'll even go as far as to say that the last one had a bit of a warez site look to it :O

I'm still trying out the various features, but so far I'm digging the new look a lot. Tidier, more manageable. The colours and visual appeal are still more of the same, without the clutter. /fistpump

I chose the Hero minion. I buy most of my indie games there anyway.

Hawk52: Can't get achievements to work though.
Works for me. You need to choose a minion first, if you haven't done so.
i'm a sucker for virtual shelves, so I like it so far
Could someone explain to me how they are adding games to their shelves? I have a feeling my shelf might be bugged due to the number of games I have as I can find no way to add games to it.

First of all, unfortunately you have to manage your shelf on your own, which'd be real tedious if I had half as many games there as I do here. On the bright side, it means not having to clutter the shelf with boxes for every expansion and language for a game.

On your shelf screen, there should be a button in the upper right to activate edit mode. If it's not there, well... you definitely have a problem, and should try clearing your cookies and cache.

Also, I feel I should note, in case you or anyone else missed it, that you should put a lot of thought and care into your minion, as you won't be able to change it later. In fact, as far as I can tell you can't even view information on other minions, or what your minion is for, after choosing. I remember that the Pirate gives either blue coin or experience bonuses for buying Action, Casual, and either Strategy games or RPGs, I think it was Strategy (all of which are right up my alley). I'm happy with my choice, but you won't be able to change so much as the color. They just made these changes, so I'd give it some time before they make things better than this.

Nothing wrong with my cache, but pressing that button does nothing in all of the browsers I've tested. It's also been like that for a few weeks, but I assumed the feature just wasn't active yet. Now I guess it must be another bug =/.

A few weeks? I didn't even see a page for the GamersGate shelf until just this morning. I guess there's something important I'm missing here, but I'm afraid I have no idea how to help you. It's working for me just fine, so I'd start worrying. >_>

Beta test.

Ah.
As far as I remember I pressed the button but didn't got the panels on the right side I was also unsure if the shelf is bugged, but now everything is fine. It seems that the site sometimes need to cache all your informations. Or is it maybe because I bought a game and completed one achievement sector (in my case the noob one)?

Edit: No, there is a bug. I had no problems with using chrome, but now with Firefox the edit button didn't work again. Edit2: No problem with Opera, it's only Firefox for me.

Okay, the solution: I blocked Facebook with NoScript. Allowing Facebook the panel shows up.

GamersGate really needs a forum. Otherwise, how are they going to see feedback threads such as this?

They check Didimatic from time to time.

But they would benefit a lot from having a place where all of it's community could gather.

BTW, is that Angie's voice on the introduction video? It's beautiful =)

Yep that's her.
I like the new site, a few bugs and misspellings though. I just don't like clicking pages 1,2,3,45 for the offers. For catalog browsing it's okay, but I like a fast and all in one offers page.

I chose the Pirate, since what I buy mostly are either Strategy or Action (well, shooters). And if indies are also tagged as casual, it's profit. But I would like the picture to be a Ninja... ;)

The description for a few of the achievs is a bit loosely, too. But funny, and I like these more human, fun websites.
