Postal 2: Thank you for playing JESUS xD
the way you phased that without killing if you mean literally then i have completed lots of games like call of duty etc but if you mean not killing anything in game then that would be sam and max as technically most of the villains don't die or just come back to life lol
what about mass effect? you can make the last boss self kill

I think it still counts as murder if other people who are your henchmen/partners/allies are doing the fighting for you.
Games like Street Fighter don't involve killing. Severe bodily harm, but not killing.

Great thread.
I remember reading a similar article in Edge Magazine where I beleive they challenged people to play an entire month without killing anything.
It's harder than you think :)
Theme Park. Although if your rides go wrong, I'm not sure if they die exactly.
Legend of Kyrandia. Lots of opportunity for you to die though.
Quest for Glory 1 (I think!) I'm thinking magic user here, but the option may be available to others.

dreadcog: Indy, you knock them out. Oh I forgot you crush that big buff guy with a boulder in Fate of Atlantis.
Le Chuck, is already dead. If something is already dead it doesn't count.

ElPixelIlustre: In the Last Crusade you actually shoot down a few planes and in Atlantis you kill Sofia's keeper.

Oh yea, it's been a while since I've played 'em. Add them to my to play list. The only time I played Crusade was when that Lucas Classic Adventures came out. Man I loved all those games and I think it was a steal for 20$.

SWAT 4?
It's theoretically possible to not kill anybody in the Metal Gear Solid games (since 2), but I think some people can die indirectly because of you.
Myst. At least Myst Exile (haven't played the others).

Especially when you have some craving to make blobs of polygons, covered in texture to seize to exist.
I've played a few games were you didn't have to kill people, or anything at all, but I found the alternative to be too cumbersome or boring.

Horus: Myst. At least Myst Exile (haven't played the others).

I'm unsure of Riven as I haven't played it to the end (what happens to Gehn? The age is unstable and is simply an inferno by the time of Exile [look to the right as you enter Atrus' study, there's a book with the d'ni number 5 on the cover, a square with a line through it sideways - Gehn's fifth age: Riven]), and Myst 4 (for some reason I haven't bothered to play that one very far yet... I can almost (but not really) imagine the player being forced to kill Sirrus or Achenar.
As for PS:T, I don't know the game inside-out, but I think there are a couple of encounters you have to get through in a non-peaceful way.
Never kill a human or never kill ANYTHING? I know there are tons of games where you never kill a person, but kill animals or aliens or what-have-you.
In the newest Prince of Persia if you get to the goals early enough you don't have to fight or kill the "corruption," which is just an evil black goo really. The bosses are corrupted people and you never kill them, to my knowledge.
I'm more intrigued by the psychology behind the idea that convincing someone to commit suicide doesn't put the death on your head. But I shouldn't hijack the thread for it.

Disaster Report, you don't have to kill anybody in it. I like this kind of concept, where your aim is to survive and save other people. Very refreshing besides all the shooter games.
While you could use non lethal means In Deus Ex, certain characters had to be nixed to proceed. In Invisible War perhaps, I can't remember.
