Of particular interest to both developers and bloggers/vloggers, Games Republic provides a monetization model for posted material, allowing critics to earn a percentage from game sales made as a result of their posts...

What a terrible idea.

Today the site has started, a little later than planned before.

What's really interesting for now: all of the Anomaly games with huge discounts.
Definitely.Gives critics an excuse to be less objective ......
..and they have World of Goo :-D

Speaking of DD startups Techland https://boxoffstore.pl/pl/ also is going to launch such service (it's in closed beta now). I wonder if that means they will never sell Crime Cities here. And they sell C&C.

Nice find, thx for the info.
Something interesting-if you register now, and confirm email, password e.t.c -the confirmation emails may end up in Junk- after a while you get gifted Anomaly Warzone Earth from the site ! That was cool !
Are Anomaly Korea and Anomaly 2 DRM-free?

edit: also, you can get Anomaly 2 on Android for cheaper here

Hmmm. Well, if nothing else it seems like a fun mix of crap DRM, crap DRM and I can't be bothered to dig through and find what other kind of DRM they're using when it isn't crap options 1 or 2. From there I can get my hands on the triple threat of Virtual Rides 2 - The Fairground Rides Simulator, X-Blades - The Witless Bimbo God of War Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator (guess what that simulates), pay an extra couple bucks to get my Euro truck painted up with snowmen (can't live without that Steam DLC, after all), then drink some bleach and call it a day.
There are no DRM/DRM-free markers there at all. Nothing.

IE, twould be best if they just disappeared.

As soon as I finish downloading them I'll let you know but please keep in mind that it will take several hours at least, because Anomaly 2 is quite big and I limited the downloading speed to 100 KB/s because I need to transfer some job related files and they are 100 times bigger then Anomaly 2 (I'm serious) so I really need the (almost) full power of my net connection for that. Phew... that's one long sentence ;)

Download size: Steam code
So it's an another Steam reseller with some other stuff mixed in... like Gamersgate

Looks like it's more like a social network kind of platform....and they didn't say anything about only offering DRM free games for sale!

I also noticed they have World of Goo :D
Oh, hey look! Another indie game website that also offers Topware's back catalog (they seem to try to shovel all of their products on any website which will have it). So far, so redundant. If it wasn't for this thread I don't think I would've ever heard of this website. I'm betting on it being drowned in the sea of samey digital distributors.

Except that gamersgate has an established user base, and provides some information on drm / steam. So, no, wouldn't compare them to GG, Gog or even to Shiny Loot.
