For future reference, there are two genres that don't go well with me (I have tried them, so I know what I'm talking about).
Adventure games
I just can't really get on with them w/o a walkthrough; I don't know why, but I seem to miss some skill required to them (and it's NOT riddle solving).
Racing games (and, for that matter, any simulation...)
I SUCK at them. Even on easy levels, I tend to crash in the first curve, so it's not much enjoyment for me.
(Yes, there are a number of racing games on my list, but only my brother plays them. He's so much better at this than me ;-)).
