bazilisek: I keep wondering, though, if there is any meaningful difference between a reaction to a vote and a reaction to an accusation, and I can't think of any.
In most cases, there probaably isn't much but in this case, the difference is really significant.
If I had been responding to your vote, it would have been "part of the game".
I was responding to your accusation that my comments about the deadline was something sinister, rather than the simple concern for the fairness of the game it was. This is why I regarded your reasoning as flawed, without having to know what it was. The comments were directed at JoeSapphire, who isn't a player, thus I effectively wasn't playing at the time I made them.
Any reasoning you had is made void by the fact that I chose to make it a public comment, rather than PMing him. Looking back, that may have been a better idea though! :)
I brought up my giveaway to try and clarify my intentions as that is run how it is specifically to be as fair as possible. It is not biased towards people who come online certain days or can only get only during the week/weekend for example.
Hopefully, that explains it all >.<
