It depends on whether mafia would have a use for items, I guess. I don't see how they could use them, though, and the nameclaim was probably more important to scum anyway.

Well, you don't actually know that amok had a scum agenda. I hadn't noticed it at the time, but he pushed pretty hard to get a bandwagon going for himself yesterday. I can't see how that would fit into a scum agenda.

Yeah, I guess that having some sort of description, provided that it doesn't allow for too many interpretations and recuparations ("uuh yes my thing was yellow and I meant, this may be yellow under some conditions, so, I totally meant that" or "no no no I said blue but it's not that item because many things are blue") would be okay. In that sense, I suppose that both RedBaron's and JMich's claim could do the trick (I don't think MANY things will be misspellable in a wow-way, so if his item turns up, it'll be obvious - just make sure, if you're town, to mention any element that may be used by Joe).

So, waiting for Darko's and Rodzaju's now. Flub's is already known (unless the mechanics are way way more complex than expected, but then I guess they'd have little chance to be comprehended or useful within one mafia play).

As for p1na's next target, I think he should investigate one of the three targetable suspects with no identified elements (JMich, Redbaron, Rodzaju), or one of the two remaining ones if we lynch one. But I don't think he should tell us which one, as mafia should have more trouble making the right decision if this is unknown (it's narrow enough because if we mislynch, it'll be at least 50% chances of targetting directly Handkerchief Killer, or designating him indirectly). And if we lynch Rodzaju and Rodzaju flips town, i'd go as far as saying that JMich would be already identified as the Handkerchief Killer (RedBaron being identified as town unless weird doublebind win conditions for Rod). In which case, he can go for redundancies anywhere...

Of course, if we lynch a mafioso, we'll have no way to tell whether it was the Handkerchief Killer (unless I survive and find it or another item next to a new crime scene), so again any target would do, as for a back-to-square-one investigation.

That might actually be a more ideal scenario, as the scum wouldn't know what they leave behind, if they do and as such might be have revealed it.

I am still wondering about the vanity of a killer that leaves behind the same item at every scene, but I guess thats crime stories for you :P

I don't see anything that would count as an item in my PMs. The only thing that stands out (and it's not included in my original PM, but in the nightly ones) is the mention of snow glittering under the moonlight, but I doubt that's it.

I said 2 because I could expose the handkerchief right away, and potentially the 2nd one if they lied. But that would mean lying and not killing me, which wouldn't be a very smart move... Maybe I didn't think it through

I do have two items; pearls and Lavender water. When I think of the connotations....

1)DarkoD13: Your claim helped establish you as slightly more of a townie in my mind, as it gave a somewhat credible explanation for your nightly behaviour. Your claim, however, has been a bit overshadowed by our recent discussions surrounding both Rodzaju and Red_Baron, which is why I haven't really past comment on your claim before this.

2)Vitek: It's simple curiosity. You've be hinting at a role for, from what I seem to remember, quite a while.

Oh, also Unvote: DarkoD13. I'm undecided as to whom to vote for today. Either Red_Baron or Rodzaju seem like the most obvious choices to me, as lynching one of them would help, I think, dispel some of the conceptions about the other. I'm leaning more towards Rodzaju at the moment.

Is it really necessary to make it so complicated?
Just take a look at your role PM and tell us if you see some hit of item worth of sharing. If you see one, perfect, if you think there could be something else, share it too.
No need for big discussion and establishing rules for it.

There is one, and only one item that has its first letters capitalized in my PM. And as for the misspelling, it's close to the common "Baulder's Gate" misspelling, if both Baldur and Baulder were actual words.
