Telika: (In the meantime, I also find the zchinque thing very curious. Has anyone any experience of what kind of benefit can be associated to hammering actions, in different roles/settings ? Is it a total joe thing, or is there a basis on which to speculate on the probability for it to lead to a town or scum advantage ? Or even to be an absolutely neutral thing...)
The wiki isn't particularly helpful there. Perhaps a Joe-created jester-like character that has hammering as a winning condition?
Another possibility that came up when reading about the Jester role:
"the player who hammers a Jester wins a One-Shot Vig kill ", so maybe Zchinque has some variation of that perk?

(Also, Flub's boobs are distracting. Quite the poker face...)

Zchinque: Vote Flub
I thought you wanted to hammer?

This is weird, and I don't like the continuing trend of you not explaining anything.

Vote Zchinque
According to the opening post, this game does allow unvoting. I don't see how me voting here somehow prevents me from delivering a hammer later on.

Or would you perhaps I'd rather leave my vote inactive?

And I believe we've played together before, you should be aware that I don't necessarily explain my thought process right away, if I don't believe it's needed. But fine, if you look over Flub's posts so far in the game, each and every one has been completely worthless (I don't read the post of his that Telika commented on earlier as saying anything about his stance towards amok's position, I read it as "blaaa-aaargh").

Of course you can unvote, it just looks a little like you're trying to get a wagon moving so you can hop off and then hammer. The reason for my vote is the general lack of explanation, "I thought you wanted to hammer?" was mostly a throwaway comment to accompany the eyebrow I raised at your post containing only a vote.

Not explaining your thought process right away is fine in some contexts, but voting like that is just scummy. The explanation you give now does make sense, I kind of wonder why you didn't give it with the vote.

What? By making the first vote on someone, I was just waiting for that "wagon" to pick up steam all of a sudden? We're nowhere near lynching time yet (and hopefully Joe takes the glacial speed of the game during the holidays into account when determining deadlines), you know this already.

Well, it gave me an excuse to strike up this wonderful conversation with you.

@Mod: Jacobbama has yet to post. Perhaps send him a kind reminder, to make sure he's participating in the game?

It's actually indication of his townplay.

When he stops running around beating people with baby oppossums, only then is he scum.
I am here, but unfortunately do not have time to post anything of great length.

Normal services should resume this Sunday. I do apologise for my prolonged absence.
Howdy folks - Im here, but prolonged xmas festivities with kids, plus a wedding reception to go to today means I wont get back to this until sunday...

One thing i noticed though - Joe said I hadn't voted anyone - I did, nmillar. It WAS only an RVS vote and quickly removed, but I did vote...
Has JMich not been lynched yet? Did you all miss what he said about Prudence Eggars? Scum.

Not necessarily. He had plenty of similar posts in the previous game. The one during my "spat" with CSPVG jumps to mind. Of course I've never seen him play when he's not scum.

That he hates Prudence Eggars? Please elaborate.

Prudence Eggars is a fine, upstanding citizen, as I exclusively revealed , and Red_Baron supported [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_mafia_19_a_slalom_mafia/post30]here.
Actually, for a while, I expected some complementary combinations, like nobody sharing the same "like" or "dislike". Either that would have been too simple, or some haven't been ttally honest.

Hmm, interesting. You don't think that some of these likes and dislikes are simply based on personal interactions? Seems like in your interpretation of the system it'd be pretty easy to find the scum if we cross referenced the likes and dislikes. I'm not completely convinced.

Starting to wonder if Zchinque is a jester or something, seems to be playing deliberately scummily so I'll unvote for now.

Interesting. Care to elaborate about how you know that? Even better, how two people know that Prudence is a fine citizen, even if she did paint me in such a bleak light the other night?
