I am finding Zchinque last claim very disturbing, and if it is true, then some of the assumptions I have made is completely wrong. It opens up 3 possibilities:

1 - the list of names is wrong and they do not actually fit to players at all
2 - there are 16 players in the game
3 - Zchinque is giving out porkie pies.

I think you need to elaborate here. What is new about my last claim, except that I mention my name? I've already said that I'm not mentioned in the opening post.

@mod: Have you messaged our no-show yet?

yeah, well.... the reason I do not have any likes/dislikes nor any clue is that I am not part of the group. I came here with dear Bernie, which is why I like(d) him only. Therefore I am not one of the names, and if you are not either then this means that 1 of those options have to be right.

I dunno, it makes a certain amount of sense. Not counting Caroline Bianchi, the opening post mentions 13 names present, adding me.and you makes for 15 players.

What makes less sense is that the opening post mentions our ski instructor not knowing anyone present.

"BERNIE VON MORIZ, neutral ski instructor.
You were hired to teach these people skiing! You don't even know any of them! You have no idea why you've been shot dead! "

The people he did not know was those he came here to teach skiing. Does not say anything about those whom he was not hired to teach. But yes, it does make sense if we discard Caroline Bianchi.
Oh yes. My list includes Bernie von Moriz, who is dead and therefore not played. Means :

Ladies :

1. (Caroline Bianchi - PC or NPC ?)
2. Harriet Franks (player 1)
3. Frances Page (player 2)
4. Constance Drabble (player 3)
5. Prudence Eggars (player 4)
6. Delilah Cattling (player 5)
7. Rosemary Pollit (player 6)
8. Edie Delaney (player 7)

Gentlemen :

1. Gabriel Delaney (player 8)
2. Peter Browning (player 9)
3. Lawrence Birch (player 10)
4. George Mariner (player 11)
5. Christopher Sedgeworthy (player 12)
6. Damian Hoarly (player 13)
7. (Bernie Von Moriz - Dead NPC)
8. Kurt Pascal (player 14)

Plus :

9. Amok's character (player 15)

So, there goes, again, JMich's 8+8 info. Or did JMich expect 8+8 people apart from him/her ?

Also, Amok and Zchinque, with your kind of "identification" here, would you consider yourselves particularly in danger ? I mean, from what you know, flavor-wise, of the plot and mafia motives, do you suspect that they have flavour-related reasons to target you (as "kurt pascal" and as "bernie's friend", on the basis of knowing this alone) more than some other players ?

I have no idea how much the mafia knows about me or what flavour related to me they may have.

Name is Kurt Paschale, got autocorrected.

I don't think the scum are after named targets in particular (though I'm sure there are some they'd love to find), but I suspect we might have a lyncher and/or hitman, but as I mentioned I feel I have reasons to speculate they wouldn't be after me.

So no, I don't feel in particular danger, but I do think mass nameclaiming would be a poor idea.

Telika: 1. (Caroline Bianchi - PC or NPC ?)
It makes perfect sense that she wouldn't be a player, because she must be alive at the end of the game. The only way that can be predictable is:

1. She's not one of the players, or
2. She's bulletproof and lynchproof or something else crazy.

It doesn't make a huge amount of sense for her to be a player IMO.
I have a delicate question for QuadrAlien and Red_Baron, concerning post 44.

avatar
QuadrAlien: It seems to me that Red_Baron might have a similar clue to my own, though he seems to be making further assumptions at an alarming rate if this were to be the case.
Let's suppose you both kinda share the same clue. Would the nature of that clue lead you to imagine each other as townie ? That is - is it a clue that would make more sense for a townie to have, rather than a mafioso ?

Asked Joe for clarification on how much I can reveal, will post back once I get approval, or see how I can rephrase it to post it.
As for spontaneous I guess from your point of view. From my own it was a thought out plan to give out the stuff - without actually flaunting it.

Assuming his clue is the same as mine (he made it when I was still trying to play the likes/dislike/clues, as opposed to flat out saying them), then it informs of a clue to the killings (the female part) (actually we need to get Joe to clarify this point, as dislikes/clue's/likes can't be discussed after day1 are we just to ignore all related to it? or bleep them out or something?). Anyway I would assume the killers wouldn't need a clue for it, but I honestly have no idea if it can be taken as anything like "more town". Considering that QA might just have understood my easy to figure out puzzle and commented, or he is the killer and is female or he just has the same clue no matter what he is. However I personally found it a bit comforting that he reacted against my apparent "assumptions" (my whole attempt at hinting to female killer, while managing to confuse the matters with romance killer and other such nonsense which I have no clue about).
