I don't know about you but I think having an online audio player would be great. If you have the time and inclination to do so, I would appreciate it if you voted for this site feature. Sure, there are lots of social media sites out there... but I'm saying I think it would be awesome if GOG had one that is unique.

They could try getting an agreement to stream the soundtracks to those who bought the game they accompany?

Yes, streaming. I think people would also be interested in some games if they tried listening to the music and sounds that come with it. I don't know how GOG will pull it off but this is just an idea which would not only benefit us here but also the game developers as well. There are risks involved, of course; but I think it would be worth it.

I think pure audio loads faster than video. Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.
I thought you were asking them to stream Lady Gaga, Bieber, or something and I thought pass, but streaming game music would be cool. Until the tracks go from something nice and serene to the music from System Shock 2. Not that I dislike SS2 music, but juggling the volume at work would suck.

Would there infrastructure be able to support whole bunch of people streaming soundtrack music?. And getting the ip holders to the existing music to agree......
+1 and voted.
Why not stream it to people that don't own the game, as the quality will be less then the downloadable soundtracks.

For now I use http://rainwave.cc/ for my streaming video game music.

The quality of the audio would not be as good as the original, of course, but it's better than nothing. At least for me, that is. Maybe some would agree.

If this site feature were to materialize, those who don't want to listen to audio have the option to turn off the player. It's that or online visitors, members or not, would have the option to turn on the player if they feel like listening to anything that GOG has to offer.

It's perfect for the holidays and for those days where you just want to listening to something coming from the GOG team.
