With around 7 weeks to go to Christmas, I think it's time to get this up and running again. For those who missed last year's event, check out last year's festive frenzy of giving to see what went down!

Like last year, you'll be randomly assigned a person to buy a gift for and I'll contact you with a list of games to pick from. An email address will be provided shortly for you to send the gift code to. The GOG Secret Santa will then distribute all the gifts on Christmas Day.

To participate, you'll need to provide a wishlist (and commit to buying a game for someone else). You can either post your wishlist on the GOG Wiki, post it in this thread, or PM the list of games you're interested in to me. Please provide a mixture of game prices so people have a choice about how much they want to spend!

2. On Saturday 14 December, everyone who wants to participate will be assigned another participant at random;
3. You should buy this person a gift from their wishlist (you will get a PM with this information);
4. Send the gift to [email address to be provided], remembering to put the name of the recipient in the message (so the GOG Secret Santa knows who to send it to) by Saturday 21 December;
5. On Wednesday 25 December, a shiny new game or two will appear in your inbox! :)

NOTE: With GOG's current gifting system, gifts won't be anonymous as the buyer's username will appear when you redeem your gift. You could just close your eyes and click through quickly though. :)

Two questions:

1) Can we fix it so we all get Licurg's name and then agree to all get him Sacrifice?

2) How do I make a post so that we can read it but Licurg can't? :P

FYI, for those who don't know, there is a nice bit of scripting available over there that ties into your browser for GOG.com, once you set up an account at GOGwiki you can automagically sync your games lists to the site and then do updates as it changes. Instructions are here:
