I know this might give a people some negative vibes, but I'm willing to take the risk...

I've noticed that a great deal of games on GOG.com that I would like to have mods... well, don't. Surprisingly to me, the only games I've modded was HoMM3 with the HD mod and Total Annihilation with... various things :D Two others were Descent with the DX1-Rebirth thingy, and SS2 with all those mods in the "Mod Spotlight" thread for the game.

Take Sacrifice and Hostile Waters for example. I can forgive(for lack of a better term, I used "forgive" but I am not actually mad) Sacrifice for this because they at least showed that they care about custom content by giving players some way to create content for the game with the Scapex map editor. IMHO, the game also has atmospheric replayability with its nonlinear single-player and competitive and addictive multiplayer matches. That's not to say custom creatures or other things would've hurt, however :)

However, Hostile Waters is an entirely different beast - with no way to create any form of custom content, a rejected multiplayer leaving the game a single-player experience only and a single-player campaign mode(the only way to play the game) about as linear as they get, there's not much reason to really ever play Hostile Waters again when you finished, unless you want to take the game for another go, that is. No maps, no vehicles, no scenarios, no weapons, nothing. Well, thanks to Nirth, I've been informed of a possible reboot to the game, so hopefully somebody(perhaps me if I ever get around to it) will suggest it to them :D

I know I don't have many games compared to several other people here(I have 52 minus free games like Warsow or Ultima 4) but for having modded 4 games out of 52, is a little disappointing to me :P It would be awesome, although I don't mean to bother anyone about it, if somebody pointed out to me some games that are moddable and do have mods, so that I wouldn't be so sad and modless :D

Jagged Alliance 2! Source code also available!
I'm not entirely sure what are you asking for, GOG games are just as moddable as the originals were for the most part

I think he's asking more which games are moddable to begin with, regardless of version.

We try our best to ensure the games we sell are as close to their original versions as possible, barring any changes made to help with the game's compatibility with newer operating systems. That said, mods will work 99% but we can't offer support for a modded game.

Also, if you ever want to know about a game's modability, you can always check out the game's subforum as most mod topics are stickied :)

Yeah, pretty much this.

Replying to Judas' post - yes, I know everything you said there. The reason I said "GOG.com Game Moddability" is because I didn't want people to be saying "How could you miss the elephant in the room, Skyrim?" or "Ever heard of the Steam Workshop?" or other games not on GOG.
Oh, I see.

Neverwinter nights, both 1 and 2

Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004

Those are probably the most notable examples, they have entirely new games modded in for them.

edit:
I'll just keep going by the ways of editing. Duke Nukem 3D and Blood are two games I know have a good share of mds for them, including complete engine overhaul for DN3d

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 has a couple of user expansion packs, most notably In the Wake of Gods, and of course loads of user maps and campaigns.

Infinity engine games (Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series, Planescape Torment) have loads of mods, but it's mostly not new content - more of tweaking gameplay and that kind of stuff. At least from what I'm aware. Oh right, there's tons of new NPCs and party members and that campaign mod for the original BG... all right.

Thief 1 and 2 has a great following that makes brand new single-player maps. If you happen to like those, take a look at The Dark Mod - it's free and standalone Thief-like engine made exactly for that purpose.

Fallout games have some mods, but I have never played them

Then there are tons of games that have a couple of big mods, but not a dedicated modding scene, like Arcanum

Deus Ex. Totally forgot about Deus Ex.
