Elmofongo: Forgive me for saying this, but I still don't get what tumblr is or supposed to be?
An image board, kind of like a cleaned up version of 4chan. Pretty much taking the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" and then trying to have a full conversation with just pictures. Kind of a blog where everyone is blogging with each other, kind of a game, kind of just a check out these amazing/awesome/inspiring/silly/terrible/neat/hilarious/funny/thoughtful pictures. Some find it fun, some find it relaxing, some find it super annoying. Your mileage may vary.

Also, fav'ed and reblogged GOG. Put some awesome game-juice on my feed! :D
No plans on using it, but grats! Maybe some people will tumble over to here from there. :)
It's sad that the first image on the page (i.e. the one in the top-left corner) is of XIII, and that that fantastic game is no longer for sale.

If this blog leads to GOG actually breaking their own news instead of having other sites do it, I'll consider this a win.

G-Doc: ^That. :-) No worries, by saying "no intrusive copy protection" we didn't mean to single-out one kind of DRM as bad in favor of some other kind, that we feel more comfortable with. It's just as Arkose said - in some cases we do have some legacy forms of anti-piracy measures. Usually so old, that they can be only seen as an interesting curiosity :-)
Yep, I tend to view them as part of the game these days :-)

XIII AND Fallout 2. =/
is tumblr connected to facebook in any way?
*rep the first post*

Even though it's useless for staff members :D

But yes, I approve!
I like G-Doc...and Turtles.

Grats on the Blog. Looks good.

mondo84: "zombie-cocks reblogged this from gogcom"
I looked up that blog and if my assumptions are correct, that's captfitz's blog :)

I have to say - what is the point of a blog if it (a) only reiterates what the front page of the main site says and (b) leaves out important information like this (which itself was hidden in the Guilty Gear forums, only apparently relevant to people who've actually bought the game)?

Dang, first I heard about this. Why wasn't this on the front page?

Agreed. This is the sort of information I would have assumed the blog would post about.
