gbaz69: After you run them, you should use a registry cleaner:
CCleaner = http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

Then definitely run disk defragger afterwards. (big cause of slow on many pcs)

(ps. for the really hard to remove stuff, usually requires a boot disk, so hopefully you can burn one)
Unfortunately CCleaner can do more harm then good unless you're very careful and know what you're doing. Or else you use only the most basic and cautious options, in which case it's practically pointless.

Defragging is pointless on modern systems as the drive will automatically be defragged when needed. If you have an SSD then it's downright harmful to manually defrag.
