So GMG has some really deep discounts on titles ive been watching for awhile now.

But they talk about Capsule, and there own client to launch games. Are they a steam replacement, or give steam keys.... How are the games delivered to the user?
I think it varies and you have to see what it says on the individual product page. I've only ever bought stuff from them that was a Steam key, but they obviously have Origin and Uplay as well. Someone else will have to answer about Capsule...
They do a combination of reselling keys from Steam, Origin & co and selling games which they themselves provide through Capsule. Capsule is a content delivery system which interacts with SecuROM online DRM. The distinctive feature is that you can "sell back" your games to GMG once you're done with them for some credit you can use to buy new games, whereupon your game is "deactivated" with the SecuROM. The arrangement doesn't work for everyone but it is an interesting one, and demonstrates a possible way in which DRM actually has an arguably legitimate use.

Games sold as Steam or Origin keys are not tied to Capsule or the GMG site in any way.
I see it now, feels kinda silly missing it plain as day... I'm going to give it a shot, see how it goes.
Either a steam key or Capsule I think. I bought game once there that required Capsule and I downloaded the client, installed it, downloaded the game and activated it (it had separate DRM as well) and then I was good to go. Unfortunately it didn't support Windows 7 as far as I understood the root of the issue and I had crashes every 5 minutes or less so I traded it in for cash on my next purchase. I had no issues with Capsule but it may have different rules than Steam and others.

You could perhaps search for a list that will tell you what games you can buy there in case you only want the Steam key.

I'm on 8.1, knowing I can trade back makes me feel a lot better.

Thank you all for the help.
