koima57: Second bonus, Planet Alcatraz at 4000.

And I tell you, what a bad game..
Probably true that it's a bad game, but I'm a sucker for isometric RPGs with unusual settings, and cheap bundles are the ideal way to acquire games I have low expectations for. So for me personally, that bonus game is what will (assuming the threshold is reached) make this particular bundle worth getting. :)

I have tried it for a half hour, thiking of a Fallout style game. Well, the game is very poor technically, yet made my computer overheat.. The presentation was cheap, the voice acting really off, the design close to awful, the controls obscure, and the game very unresponsive.. I recall as well the music, very funky for such a game, and the silly difficulty at the first few encounters, I got killed while hopelessly watching that guy waving his club, or plank, I forget what weapon it was.. It is a bonus, so it's all good. But have fun with all that mess, it's better than a black screen or playing chess with dry dog turds, though, that I agree. :)

chean: Well, I haven't bought it yet, so can't verify, but like all the games in this bundle except Etherlords 1 & 2, Parkan 2 does have the DRM-free icon. So there SHOULD be a Groupees download as well as a Steam key for it.
Interesting. Those DRM-Free icons weren't there when I first checked the bundle.

They weren't there. I contacted groupees and the response was
"We offer games based on what the developer agrees to. In this case, this was the deal that the developer and our games director agreed upon. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Will buy now.

Edit: Finished downloading and started playing the game. Keep having some weird graphical bug where white boxes appear. Changing graphics options seems to have no effect, running as admin doesn't, nor does compatibility mode (tried Vista and XP). Also, turns out the game is 1.2 and not 1.3, though I have no idea if the bug is fixed in 1.3.

Edit 2: Installing the 1.3 patch apparently activates DRM or something. Starforce info screen popped up and the game didn't start.

Edit 3: Tried a crack with v1.3. Didn't work, got some error when I launched the game. Contacted Groupees about them getting v1.3.

Planet Alcatraz has been unlocked. Both Steam and DRM-Free.

That's some real bullshit there. That reminds me of the Precursors, whose 1.1 patch also added Starforce.

Did it look like this? (It's from another game, so don't be surprised)

No. More like white rectangles that go across either the entire or half of the screen. They flash too, so it's not a consistent rectangle.

Tried to take a screenshot, but all I get when I do that is a black screen.
I'm surprised they gave a steam key for Planet Alcatraz, as I don't think one has been given yet for the one that was in the KISS bundle.
