Is there any free or low price games or deals or free game giveaways like that on this site?

There's a lot of low priced games, we're in the middle of the end of the year winter sale right now where much of the inventory is up to 50% off. For free games, there's 12 free titles if you go to "Browse Games" and sort them by price to show just the freebies, ranging from shooters to point and click to others. As for free game giveaways, there's contests every day from the users and GOG hosts a contest of its own usually about once a month.

Your free games should appear in your game library as soon as you make an account on GOG. As for specials, you chose a great time since the winter sale is one of the biggest there is. For freebies check the general discussions. There's always a giveaway or two there, the requirements for these can be anything from simply tossing your name in the jar to coming up with the answer to a riddle. If you like surprises this thread might just be perfect for you always a few giveaways everyday here.

Nice way to start in the GOG forums, asking where is the free stuff and the giveaways... *sigh* (--_--)

It's not the first time, and it won't be the last. Still, lots of people have had horrible starts on the forum and still managed to become valued members of the community over time. So let's not be too hasty in jumping all over someone who does not yet know what is and isn't frowned upon here.

Well, GOG is indeed offering those free games in order to lure people here (to open accounts here), and now they succeeded with mewliz, so I don't really see the problem.

Of course if someone starts begging for free games from other users (giveaways), that's a different thing altogether. But no sign of that yet I guess, OP just asked where/which are the free games that maybe some friend of his mentioned to him being on GOG, or he read somewhere about them.
