I feel so dumb - but if some one teaches me how to do it, I can practice by putting the indicator on this thread.

When creating a new topic there will be a checkbox to mark the thread itself as a question at which point you have the option to mark a reply as the solution.

So you won't be able to mark this thread as solved but at least now you know.
