This is basically what I have been waiting for, being able to support somebody other than Steam and finding a place that has openly DRM-free installers of these games. Obviously I wished it could have been GOG instead, but I'll take this too.
I bought Pajama Sam 1 and it seems to run fine, simply via SCUMMVM.
EDIT: I'll also mention that it was Night Dive Studios who built the DRM-free installers, and while they didn't publish the games on Amazon, they will be bringing them to the Humble Store and GamersGate soon. (I hope those versions will be DRM-free, too.)
