dizcology: perhaps it's just that not too many people here use iProducts.

tfishell: You may be right, lol. Maybe I should do a giveaway with physical disks instead.
original disks of these games seem to be hard to find these days?

I remember my son's old daycare had some of those very old original CDs with Putt Putt games.

Nope, not hard to find and cheap on Amazon, but I want to continue getting the word out about these games.

I'll bump this thread once or twice more, and if nobody else enters, I think I'll gift you Putt Putt joins the circus. (I may have to hold out on that other giveaway for right now.)

Not in, but kudos on your effort and thanks for your generosity, tfishell!

with the goal of promoting awareness of the Humongous games (I am sure there are plenty of people here who could enjoy them with their little ones), how about keep the giveaway running until enough people have seen the thread?

Perhaps you're right. Maybe I will wait those two weeks.
meanwhile, I noticed that some of the games have different puzzles every time you play (such as, location of something you need to find is different), while for some other games ( such as saves the zoo) all the puzzles seems to be always the same.

I wonder why most point and click adventure games seem ti not do the same ( randomize puzzles)
Not entering the giveaway but I totally support the games getting on GoG.

I remember playing Freddi Fish and Pajama Sam when I was younger. I definitely wouldn't mind being able to pick these games up again hassle free. I have no issue playing kids games no matter how old I am and I also have a nephew that could enjoy them as well.

Well it's not completely randomized. From what I remember, there were two different walkthroughs for each game. The storyline would be the same, but the puzzles would be different within each walkthrough - you'd have to find different items or rescue different people or creatures.

Truthfully, most other point and click adventures are a bit longer than these games (you can beat most in about 45 min to an hour), so having two different walkthoughs helped lengthen the amount of gameplay.

Add in the time spent doing the "click-its" and savoring the atmosphere/environments, and you could probably get 2-3 hours gameplay out of each title. (Worth $5.99 a pop in my book, especially if the soundtracks were included)
I played these as a kid but as an adult its impossible to recapture the magic. Good luck.
Happy new year everybody!

Not in, I'm just stopping by to say thank you, tfishell! I didn't grow up playing Humongous Entertainment games, but it's easy to see their qualities and their nostalgic appeal(after all I would like to re-play Tuneland, if only to see how it holds up after all these years). Good luck in your endeavor of getting them on GOG. +1

tfishell: From what I've read you can gift games through iTunes, so my plan is thusly:
Hmmm, how does gifting work on iDevices?

It's similar to GOG's system. The buyer chooses a "gift" option and gets a code to send to the recipient, who then puts it in a "redeem" area.
Totally missed this thread in my travels but great GA and as always, thank you for the ongoing promotion of HE games ;-)

I bought all of these games for my son and enjoyed spending hours playing with him. GOG definitely needs to add a family section!

Not in since I only own an ipod but I've voted in the past!

OK, thanks.

Count me in for the first Pajama Sam.
