not buying... waiting for HIB 6 and GALA3

Accatone: I think the campaign video promo deserves a special mention. One of the best ones I have seen among the bundle trailers. When you think of the recent promo of the Indie Face Kick Bundle (it's simply annoying), Indie Underdog Pack's video shines as a creative and enjoyable one.

EDIT: I updated the first post with the link of the official page of the bundle. When I started the topic, it wasn't online yet.
This is the reason im buying the pack even though i was a bit sceptical before seeing the video :).
These (indie) kickstart projects start sounding more and more like the Nigerian letters.
I bought it for $5, and thought it was money well spent.

Started with the Lazy Brain Games, which are admittedly freeware.
Question. Page says $5 for 6 games. I swear you were getting 6 plus 6 bonus at the start? Did this change or was i imagining things? (homepage seems to be different as well)
The plus 6 bonus is if you pay a certain amount (25 dollars). You get the devs next games that the bundle is helping fund. If you just pay the base price you get the already developed games.
This is the last weekend for this pack, and the minimum has been dropped to just a dollar. A music album by Those City Lights has been thrown in as a bonus as well.

At just a dollar, this is a pretty excellent deal for some really innovative and neat games. If you want to know more about them, or you haven't heard of them before, I did a pretty thorough write-up of each one on my own site.
Man 1824 out of 50000 goal is pretty bad?
They put $1contribution next after $1500... *facebalm*
Sorry, not interested in any of them. Only mildly interesting one is Cinders. Sorry, I'll pass this one.

Get back to me when you create creative cRPG or TBS Strategy game ;-)

Yes, its a pretty good deal. I myself got it for $5, but so far only gotten around to the Lazy Brain Games pack, Koya Rift, and Magi.

Noticed from your writeup that you were having issues with Space Fish - that's because they forgot to include a file in the archive (I actually got in touch with the developer to figure this out). In the game directory, create the file "gamesave.ini" with the following contents:

[gamesave]
level=1
username="PenutBrittle"

And it should work. It's probably my least favorite game of the bunch though.
$2020
RAISED OF $25000 GOAL

Is this the worst bundle effort so far in terms of failing to reach a goal?
I'm confused about this, why do people seem almost... angry (?) about this bundle. If it's not for you, it's not for you, I don't get what's the big deal?

Edit: you can't buy the games anymore? Sadface.

They didn't get much publicity, and almost no one'd ever heard of any of the included games, so it's not very surprising.

Well, even for indie games these titles were rather niche. Some of them might have been okay-ish to good, but I've got 2 dozen games that are likely "okay-ish to good" lying around from other bundles. They didn't have much of a hook to rope people in (i.e. a ringer/must have game). Isn't this the one with the "backer" levels, like Hungry Gamer? I don't know if that made sense to the potential audience as much as it did to the game devs (who really did intend to use it as cash to fund their next titles, iirc).

Hopefully they won't give up and maybe we'll see a few show up as some games in some other bundles.
