I wouldn't mind buying Earthworm Jim, Fallout 2, and MDK...

This is merely the next step in their continuing downward spiral. It's amazing they haven't hit the bottom yet.
Oh well, if GOG's announcement really does turn out to be multiple publishers then that only increases the likelihood of the publisher(s) that buy up their IPs already being on GOG.

I don't think anyone would be surprised by this. Hell we are still to see anything other than concept art about Project: V13. All Interplay are these days is a bunch of clueless business investors sitting on what they think is valuable IP.

... here's hoping there's a JoWood-like promo in the future.
It sounds crappy, I know, but it would help them get a bit of money.

I think GOG needs to get the Star Trek games that Interplay developed. 25th Anniversary was one of their biggest sellers and this will really help them out. You release that and your gonna be getting a lot of Trekkies purchasing which would be a good thing for Interplay for the short term.

Not that you couldnt see this happening. All we got from interplay over the year is basically one lawsuit after another i am supprised they have survived for so long. Wonder how much the sales in gog and other download companies have kept them going.

Well, looks like we'll get Interplay promo in the end, if GOG is going to do the same thing as they did with JoWood.

As a fan, I'd hit it. ;)
Edit:
Also sorry to hear about Interplay's troubles. As others have said though, it is not surprising. I was a big fan of them back in the 90's. Nowadays they are pretty much a weak shadow, ready to pass out any minute. A sad fate. How the mighty have fallen.

Could be are the operative words. An IP is next to useless if it's not being used. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing but if it's not available then we quickly forget. Just how valuable are IP's that fell into disuse like Alex Kidd, Monster Boy or even Panzer Dragoon?

Buy every interplay game here?? But...but, there are so many of them!
Curses, this must be some clever ploy of them to increase sales on GOG. Interestingly, it seems to be working. (bye bye $$$)
