Well, when I go the the voting section of gog.com(to vote on what games you want on gog.com) I sometimes see Half-Life 1 or 2. Sometimes even Counter-Strike.
People, i'm sorry, but if you want those game go get Steam. Valve will never(maybe in the future..I doubt that though) as DRM free. Also, I also see people ask for modern games..people, the sites title says "Good Old Games".

it's a wish list, you ever wish for something you knew you couldn't have?
shut your mouth man, people can wish up all they want, they can wish for a game called "no newbs allowed"
but seriously, let people wish for what they want.
you aren't valve and you don't know if they'd allow GOG to compete in that market.
Therefore, it is legitimate the only thing I truly want on the wishlist is Duke Nukem Forever. Always bet on Duke!
Also, relax, Half Life 1 is a very fine PC game that brought us all great memories and fun. HL 2 paled in comparison to it.

I am a Steam and GOG user, and Half-Life is a short yet very fun game. Gravity Gun FTW!
Sadly, to play steam games you need to be online or have logged on and exited out of the internet (I have internet problems and downloading my game that was on a CD from frigging Gamestop was a bitch!).

Use Steam's "offline mode" when playing your games. You just need to be online long enough to activate it, then you don't really have to worry about it again (until Steam does its regular update check). I've gone weeks without needing an internet connection for Steam.
Same here, just saying.

Thanks for that tip. Yeah, Half-Life 1 and 2 are great games. Now if I could play Ep1 and 2.

I wish more people feel the same way like you and I. HL2 is rubbish compared to its predecessor imo. It's a decent FPS, but I don't see the revolution that it brought. Linear gameplay, a non-existent storyline, levels that don't make sense...
The gravity gun could have been something great, but they decided to put a restraining order on what you can pick up. Take the route before Ravenholm. Why can't I just use the grav gun to blow apart the debris, when it is powerful enough to push big heavy objects? Why can't I use the gravity gun to pick up live enemies and fling them? So much for revolution, when your gameplay options are so limited
On top of that, it doesn't make sense that Gordon can carry 10 AR grenades in HL1, but only a few in HL2. AR grenades were so awesome :)

This is true. Meh, still good, but doesn't have that "punch" the original had.

Sorry for double post.
But I see what you mean, sorry for that. But the thing I don't get, why doesn't Steam have a wishlist. Lol, I'd like to see that happen soon
