After I was lucky enough to see Trentonlf's generous offer for Sang-froid via the Indiegala Steam bundle, I have been unable to redeem the key. I get this:



Sorry!

An error was encountered while processing your request:

Incorrect login

And then after clicking on a support link I got:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Access denied for user 'eywq2b'@'huntsman.dreamhost.com' (using password: YES) [1045]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.



Could be that Steam is overwhelmed right now, but I've refreshed a couple times and even went back to the original IG key page.


Unfortunately neither trentonlf nor myself have been able to determine the reason so any help here would be great.

Have you already linked your Steam account to your Indiegala account? I haven't ever redeemed an Indiegala gift, so I don't know if it's a different process, but whenever I log into my Indiegala account it pops up the following message:

"IMPORTANT NOTE: NEW STEAM KEYS ACTIVATION SYSTEM
To redeem games on Steam, you must first link your Indiegala profile with your Steam account. To do this, find the "To redeem your games connect to Steam" Text in your indiegala profile, it is next to "Your Game Keys" text."

Rakuru: Have you already linked your Steam account to your Indiegala account? I haven't ever redeemed an Indiegala gift, so I don't know if it's a different process, but whenever I log into my Indiegala account it pops up the following message:

it should work, if he followed the instructions, i redeemed 2 gifts myself recently (not today though)

it's possible Steam servers are a bit too busy too....

Thank you! I never had an Indiegala account before but after setting one up that pop-up appeared and after 10 minutes of waiting for the servers to respond I did in fact get the key redeemed:)
