This is actually pretty cool I think. Jensen has added a tier on her Kickstarter that gives out limited amount of original Gabriel Knight pencil sketches, that were salvaged from a dumbster after the old Sierra HQ was cleared out.

At the same time it makes me sad to know, that a lot of cool art work from Sierra really is on a landfill somewhere. But that really wasn't news.

Well if the greed some companies practice nowadays does anything good, it's that they save alot of the art for collector's edition art books/etc.

Still.......the top tiers, I noticed, FINALLY have backers(1 and 2 respectively). I didn't think anyone would fork over that kind of cash for something like this.

Right now:

9 $10k backers
13 $5k backers
242 $1k backers
99 $500 backers

That's 363 backers that are each supposed to receive one of the 160 sketches. I can see a problem with this...

You're misreading the numbers. You listed the number of remaining rewards, not the current number of backers at a certain reward level. There's only one $10k backer, so nine $10k rewards are still open etc. You're right though, this could lead to problems if a large number of high rollers decide to back the project.

Maybe they can cut the sketches into pieces and market it as film cel DLC?
