Just a quick note, "noise cancellation" usually refers to active circuits built into the headphones/earphones/IEMs. These usually work best on background or droning noises, but won't be of much help if, for example, the baby in the seat behind you starts crying.
"Noise isolation" on the other hand is plain old blocking out sounds, in the same way that earplugs or earmuffs do.
