General Linux user since years. Already very actives in the thread asking for Linux support, I really would like from GoG to support it…
But if it continues, I guess I'll have to go and see…elsewhere (what I already do, but I like GoG's way of think, excepted for Linux users…)
Puppy Linux for the win! It saves old hardware from going into the bin :)
I've been an occasional Linux user since 2000. I use Linux a lot professionally.
Early on, during my studies, I was on Red Hat. Now I am mostly dappling in Debian-based distros.
Since I am going to sell/give my older Win7/Win8 gaming laptop as a present to a relative (instead of buying him a weaker new gaming laptop) and sometime in the future buy a newer one for myself (which comes either with Windows 8 or 8.1 only by default), I am actually thinking of installing Linux on it beside Windows 8.1.

And the reason, suprisingly, could be Windows gaming. Namely, I have this feeling that the few older games that have issues on Windows 8/8.1 and/or newer drivers, might still be possible to run ok on WINE under Linux.

Let's see...

I have been a linux user for about 10 years. Dual-booting with Win7 (because of gaming) but I don't play much games nowadays that requires me to actually boot to Win7.

Various Debian-based distros, would love to do more gaming in my Linux environments.
Work forces me to use Windows, but all computers at home run Linux (mostly Ubuntu). We used to dual boot our main computer with Windows 7, but since it kept krashing I removed it from the boot options. My wife asked about it for a few weeks (the kids never noticed) but now no one misses it.
*Raises hand*

Arch on Laptop, use it to play games like FTL, To The Moon or other adventures / indie games. For indies, humble has become my preferred vendor since they offer DRM-free Linux versions.

I also have a Windows PC connected to a TV screen, but I only use it for games which work well with a controller.
Using linux almost exclusively since 2002 or so, dabbled with it for several years prior to that. OpenSuSE these years, it's a great distro.

I think that trying to use topics like this to determine the percentage of Linux users is not a particularly wise idea -- the vast majority will simply never see the thread for one reason or another, or won't bother to post.
Another Linux user for 10+ years. I use Debian on my servers and Fedora as my desktop distro.

I don't buy games from GOG that have a native DRM-free Linux version available. I think the money I spend on GOG would increase significantly, if they finally would start to offer Linux versions of games that natively support them, even if they were supplied as unsupported extras with crude installation methods and weird requirements.
I don't expect GOG to port games to Linux themselves and I don't mind if installation and compatibility of the LInux versions is worse than the windows versions. I just want to be able to download the Linux version of games that offer them on other places like the Humble Store.

Until that happens I mostly buy my games at the Humble Store or directly from the developers.

Some of the games I would have bought on GOG (but bought somewhere else because of missing Linux versions on GOG) are Shadowrun Returns, Dust An Elysian Tail, Rogue Legacy, Botanicula, Strike Suit Zero, Battle Worlds Kronos and Teslagrad.
