Gandos: I would buy the
Max Payne games in a heartbeat. While I thought the second was a bit of a disappointment (still good, though), the first is one of the best of its genre.
Unfortunately, Take-Two is among the publishers who insist on having regional pricing/restrictions. Until GOG is able to change their minds, we will have to do without their games on the service. =(
amok: umm.... gOg allow regional pricing now....
Oh right, I forgot that GOG decided that, in cases where they can't get a game without regional pricing, they will cover any difference in pricing out of their own pocket. Still, I'm not sure how practical that solution is when it comes to old games. At least with newer ones, the difference usually is large enough to justify handing out $5.99 and $9.99 codes.
Maybe once store credit is implemented and GOG can give consumers the difference in that form, it will be practical to have old games with regional pricing as well and publishers like Capcom and Take-Two can be brought on board.
