MirrorMoon EP is currently on sale and it really looks like my cuppa tea. However, it also looks like the kind of indie that GOG might pick up. I can see parallels to Shelter and Race The Sun, stylistically. But at the same time they haven't picked up Proteus, which is arguably a more similar game.

So what's the point? Just another post lamenting that I wish GOG could announce what games they are working to get, so that I know whether to spend my money on this now while it's on sale, or wait to get it from GOG when (if) they pick it up.

Aye - theres something intriguing about it. Will likely pick it up during xmas sales (wherever possible), but a GOG version would be nice!
...is it even community wishlisted? I fear the ways of the community wishlist!

Tried it out today (thanks again akhliber!) and it is as abstract as I had hoped. Took a while to suss out the "spaceship", and longer to work out what to do on the red planet, but that's the reward of the game. Now I'm exploring and failing and learning and, above all, having fun. If you think this kind of alien experience is something you'd enjoy, then I can certainly recommend it to you. A lot of game/art hybrids fail, but this one gets it just right.
