And again not a single indie bundle game.

Shows how including your indie game in a "greenlight bundle" is often counterproductive. Anyone who still seriously believes that games are actually selected by Valve on the basis of votes is really deluding themselves. As soon as Valve sniffs that most of the sales have already been made, the chances of that game making it to Steam drop dramatically.

I wonder how many people from the few that get it actually vote after?

I would certainly agree that it's probably a minority, but look at the Steam page for any indie bundle game and you'll see it's usually full of comments saying that they got it in "X bundle" and would love for it to appear on Steam/get a Steam key for it.

I'll openly admit that I don't bother voting on Greenlight, even though I pay above the average, because I couldn't give two fucks about Steam or Greenlight and I have no desire to actively promote even more commercial dependence on Steam.

Yeah, between those not even wanting Steam and those too lazy to even bother voting (I just recently went though a bunch of Groupees ones from ages ago that I hadn't bothered with), I'd guess the bundles probably only get a couple hundred people if that.
So not very suprising that you don't see any up there.
But if slapping Greenlight on a bundle gets even one more customer to try a game that would have otherwise been overlooked I guess it can't be a bad thing.

When did they post it up for Greenlight?

I imagine when they put up their kickstarter, as of their latest update they were #6 on Greenlight (just before getting greenlighted)

IIRC Nekro is the one that sounds like Sacrifice and is somehow backed by Night Dive so that's all good!
How does greenlight work exactly anyway? Does this mean that a bunch of games have also failed Greenlight at the point of this announcement too then?

As far as I know a game just sits in Greenlight Limbo until it gets enough attention.
That's what happened with Inquisitor.
It finally got to see a release this week.

Ah, that's good then, I could have sworn I heard about stuff failing Greenlight, good to know that's not a thing!

Ooh, checking through I noticed that The Stanley Parable HD is nearing completion, looking forward to that one!
Surprised to see The Dead Linger on the list. I remember their Kickstarter page, and I even backed it at first, but decided to drop out on the last minute given the developer's inexperience. And I'm glad I did. The screens I've seen since have been atrociously bad. Granted, the last one I've seen is probably from six months ago, but it's not a great sign that I haven't heard anything from them since either. This feels like a classic case where the devs bit more they could chew, with their huge open world plans and such. I hope I'm wrong, and that they've done great progress in total silence, but I can't help but have a gut feeling this will be another War Z.

nijuu: Ethan: Meteor Hunter
No doubt their recent post-mortem helped to gain them sympathy in this area. Will be interesting to see if a Steam release makes any significant difference.
