A vote's a vote and even negative publicity is publicity.. or something like that.
but its nice that its already on the recommendations list when you open greenlight in the client, but could also be coz you just created it there

Negative votes don't actually count toward anything to my knowledge (that is, total votes don't count towards anything. It's only the number of "yes" votes that matter).

Ahh, good. That will give me some exposure for at least a little bit.

i guess you got a facebook profile so maybe try and advertise it there too and maybe create a page for it and link it to everyone you know to increase the games exposure

I don't think negative votes count.

Anyway, voted yes. :)
Don't take the 'no' votes to heart, people do that just to clear the game from their Greenlight queue.

Ahh, I was wondering why someone would bother to vote "no" to a game they weren't interested in, rather than just ignoring it.

As you can tell, I don't go on Greenlight very often :P

Good luck on Greenlight, voted for your game there now. :)

Being in a Groupees bundle should help a lot with getting the necessary votes, seems like almost every GL game I get through them winds up being greenlit sooner or later.
How can anyone vote no on a horror game?

I voted yes btw. :P

Voted "YES", too. Good luck with the game, jefequeso! ^_^

Also, I saw a post asking for an Spanish translation. If you're thinking about doing that, I can translate to Spanish (Latin American) all the text you need.

Cheers! ^_^

jefequeso: Currently, there's no way there are 20,000 people who would even know about my game, much less upvote it on Greenlight.
I think you could exceed that amount safely if you get your game to be featured in a Humble (Weekly) Bundle. https://www.humblebundle.com/contact

Hmm.... it's being considered for inclusion in the Humble Store, but I suppose I could submit it right now anyway.
Thanks so much everyone. Got 160 yes votes already!

Just voted yes. Good luck on Greenlight!
Adventure and Horror, my two favourite genres. Voted yes! :)
In the meantime, I might go ahead and buy this and Fingerbones on your itch.io page, they look really good.
