Since Starbreeze are working on two projects at the same time (Bourne and a secret project), they won't be working on the next Darkness game. This is a real shame, because I think Starbreeze's signature blend of FPS/RPG is awesome, and I would have loved to see what direction they would take a sequel.
I hope it makes it to the PC. I've always wanted to play The Darkness, but I don't have a console.

You missed out on a decent story and excellent characters married to one of the least interesting FPS experiences I've seen on the 360.
IF they can keep the top story & characters (presumably DIFFERENT characters) but add a good game under there, it might be good. Sadly it'll probably turn out to be a cheap gears of war knockoff with magic missiles

I know Starbreeze can do better if they were given a second shot at it. After all, they made Escape from Butcher Bay, and that's one of the greatest shooters ever, gameplay-wise. The Darkness had an awesome story, Mike Patton's voice work was off the chain, and it was touching in a few parts that games rarely ever achieve.
If this new developer screws that all up, the blood will be on their hands for ruining an antihero that I actually care about.
