I encountered a problem with PhysX here is the solution that worked for me (I have a ATI Card), you need to d/l PhysX legacy driver :

About the game.

I really enjoyed this game a lot, I have it on PC and 360. It didn't get great reviews, also, it was to be part of a trilogy, so the end is a bit "meh" and kinda leaves you hanging, but its a cool premise, looks great with a variety of gameplay styles to choose from due to the character skills.

Not in, but I just wanted to say, you need the legacy PhysX for some older titles, like Clive Barker's Jericho and Velvet Assassin, and this is such legacy driver:

This is the one it must be installed. You can also install the latest version too because these are installed in separated folders, so you can have both (legacy and latest) in the same machine without any issues.
