tinyE: Maybe it's because I auto login which I can do with GOG because they don't hold onto credit information. If someone gets onto my account the worst they can do is rearrange my game shelf. :P
They could also steal any unused gift codes from your My Gifts page, or impersonate you on the forums or in PMs. They could also attempt to have games you purchase refunded (creating annoyance more than anything) or other similar malicious things.

D-ROCK: So what is everyone else's opinions on the new GOG.com login screen? I noticed that your email address is already entered in, and you now just need to enter in your password.

Spinorial: That's only if you have the leftover cookie from your last login. Personally, I'm quite happy with the new screen, as I didn't need to set any new permissions, and can finally log directly to https. It doesn't seem to be significantly slower than before.

It seems slower. Whenever websites change login screens, I always stop and make sure I'm at the correct website.

It doesn't save my e-mail address though, but that's because I don't have my browser save any history / passwords / cookies, etc.

edit : liked the older pull down menu better

For me I think the login screen loads faster faster on the screen.

It only has auto login enabled if you have your browser set up to remember login information. I don't know for me the new login screen is faster. It also looks nice and snazzy!
