Any chance of getting us old classics from these 2 old companies? would love to have xcom series here especially xcom apoc, maybe even m1 tank platoon. Was also wondering some other old classics from other companies that arent around anymore. I cant remember the name of this one game at the moment but it was an isosemetric view shooter, crusader i think it was called... the guy looked like a storm trooper and it came around around the time xcom 3 came out. i forgot if it was from interplay or some other company.

Sounds like even the owners don't know who they are or what they own so the chances are sadly low. I'd buy a Microprose Collection in a flat second, they're arguably my favourite games of all time. None of them individually are in my top 5 best ever (I think that top 5 consists of Grim Fandango twice and Planescape Torment 3 times) but as a whole I think MPS made the most consistently awesome games.
Microprose's IP's seems to be scattered all over the publishing world. They brought out a lot of gems on the PC, my personal favourite being Master of Magic. According to Steam, 2K Games now own the X-Com licence though.
Just because something is illegal does not make it unethical to do. That would be like WW2 Germany saying it's illegal to harbor Jews, allied soldiers, runaways even though the government will kill them if the find them. It would be unethical to rat them out and endanger those people's lives. It would be unethical to allow a child to be killed by the government. Obeying law/breaking law does not equal ethics.
*Sigh*
Transport Tycoon!
Well yes thats true but it has no bearing on the subject. GOG can't just sell anything they want when they don't have the rights for it, its not a matter of ethics its a matter of not wanting to have their arses sued off
Also you're getting dangerously close to godwin's law there

Close? I think he stepped over it hoping no one would notice.
