I was just browsing community wishlist and only now noticed that Paradox grand strategy games are next to nonpresent there. I find it hard to belive there are no common elements in Gog and PDS fan community. I know, up till recently they used to sell their games via their own digital platform but are planning to move into Steam only with future releases.
Which brings me to the problem I have with that decision. I have an allergy to the way Valve makes business. As much as I value both companies as game developers, the publisher part gets more and more irritationg with each commercial succes they archive. Right now I see Gog as the only major digital retail service that keeps things the way it should be not the give-us-money-and-go-f***-yourself way.
Paradox probably won't agree to their current titles but preserving somewhat older yet still immenesely playable games DRM free looks like a worthy project for me. What is your oppininon?
