I think that rather means we'll get a bit more diverse gamescape.

Saying that, preorder'd.

Pantalaimon: Never heard of this game before, but was kind of curious. Watched the gameplay video. Pre-ordering right now.

Where did this come from?! I'm still recovering from what I saw minutes ago.
Absolutely amazing.

*sniff*
It came from Finland ;)
Holy crud! Are those screenshots real-time, or were they pre-rendered? If they're the former, then my question is this: how did an independent studio get the money to make a game with graphics this good?

Definitely getting this at some point - if not pre-ordering it!

F.Y.I :
What things or a game should or ought to cost is matter or both discussion and personal opinion.....
And you can imply all you want that I should be "spoiled" I am still entitled to express my opinion....

kalirion: The lack of automap will keep this game out of my grubby little hands.
It does have an automap feature, but you can disable it if you want the "oldschool" feeling.

TheEnigmaticT: I don't work for Steam, so I could be wrong, but I don't think they're doing preorders of Legend of Grimrock.
With few exceptions, Valve don't start pre-orders until around 1 to 2 weeks before release. The exceptions mainly being for a few games from established publishers and those that offer up beta access via Steam pre-orders.

Those should be actual screenshots, and the team made this all possible by using the Finnish "sisu". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sisu ;)
I'm not sure I'll be preordering but I'll definitely get this here in the near future.
I'm really looking forward to this one. Been following its development for a while. For me, it looks like a modern take on Stonekeep, probably my favorite game ever (and, coincidentally, the game that brought me to GOG in the first place). There's always been something about Stonekeep that really captured the feeling of pen and paper D&D, even with its regimented, step-by-step movement style. I've actually never been that crazy about that gliding, almost drunken careening motion in most games with a first-person perspective. Most will probably disagree, but I liked the fact that my character didn't take a step, or turn, without me triggering it. Kind of like driving a standard shift car, I feel more in the moment. Great move, GOG, and of course I've already pre-ordered.
