Installed numerous times and still getting non launch problems and wont update to the new versions..

You might need to be more specific. How was it downloaded? What issues are you having aside from the inability to update (Before someone chimes, he said "non launch issues", I'm not sure if that means there's issues unrelated to launching or if there's issues with not being able to launch the game)?

A more detailed explanation of the situation would be helpful.
When did you download the game or do you have a disc copy? Describe the "non launch problems". How are you trying to update it? Other stuff you think that might be related, etc.

It was installed from disk, i installed it fine to begin with and it wouldnt launch from desktop so i tried going thru the launch.exe in the files still nothing so i reinstalled and saw there was an isntant update so i let it run through but it fails =/ says files are corrupted..

Edit: Also yes ive checked and cant find anything..

Go here: http://www.gog.com/witcher2/backup/

now convert your boxed copy to a GOG EH copy and use that one... this will solve all your issues... the gog installer works flawlessly and comes fully patched.

It sounds like you're having the very common corruption error when installing the Enhanced Edition update. The solution is to download Part 1 and Part 2 from here: http://en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual/
replacing the ones from the downloaded patch. It will install normally and run fine after that.
