Has anyone played this old game? A guy from work brought it in a couple of months ago. We all looked at it and thought it was a little over the top. Four people spent about a month playing it, and the whole time I was thinking it was a cheesy idea, or kiddie chess if you will.
I got sucked into the next game, and have been finding it way more satisfying that I thought I would. It feels more chaotic than chess, but a lot of the spirit of it comes through. Been quite the attention getter to passers by, and it's been pretty cool for work, with it being able to entertain 4 players.
I would actually like to score a copy, but I think I'm about 2 decades too late for that. If anyone happens to see a dusty Quadular box in a closet somewhere, consider giving it a try. I will say, I think you need all four people to do it right.
