I noticed that both Sid Meier's Covert Action and Spellforce 2 were released this week. Sid Meier's Covert Action shows 5 stars with 38 reviews and Spellforce 2 shows 4.5 stars with 11 user reviews. But when I look at the reviews section there aren't any.

So, where did the ratings come from?
Reviews don't appear immediately after they're written, it's a glitch .

It doesn't show 38 and 11 user reviews, but 38 and 11 ratings. You can rate a game without writing a review.
I second PaterAlf's observation - it's possible nobody wrote reviews yet.
And keep in mind that this doesn't necessarily mean 38 and 11 people bought the GOG versions and were happy with it either, as anyone who's logged in here can rate any game. You don't need to own it on GOG and you don't even have to play it. In theory, I could rate any game that doesn't interest me by giving it one star only. So don't judge a game by its ratings.
Interesting. I wasn't aware that you could rate a game without writing a review. It all makes sense now.

Thanks for all the feedback!
